Our Program
Welcome to Brushstrokes Art Studio!
Join us for customized art classes for children of all ages. Brushstrokes Art Studio believes in nurturing self-expression in a fun, positive and friendly environment for budding young artists of all skill levels. Each week will offer new inspiration and instruction designed to spark creativity and imagination. Our vision is to provide a supportive space where children can thrive and grow at their own pace and develop their own artistic perspective.
Our Philosophy
At Brushstrokes Art Studio, we believe that art is essential to growth and development and that every child has an inner artist waiting to be discovered! Students will learn a variety of artistic concepts using drawing, painting, pastel, collage, sculpture and mixed media. Class sizes are small with personalized attention given to each student. Classes are age/grade specific using developmentally appropriate materials and techniques to promote individual expression.

September 8, 2025 to November 7, 2025 (8 weeks)
Weekly group class schedule:
Mondays 5:00 - 6:15pm
Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:15pm
Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:15pm
Thursdays 5:00 - 6:15pm
Fridays 3:45 - 5:00pm
$375 per 8 week session - all materials and HST included
Please specify your preferred day and time upon registration
Private and semi-private classes available upon request

About Me
Shannon Hardy is an artist and arts educator, passionate about self-expression, creativity, and art exploration through a variety of mediums. Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art from the University of Toronto and a Masters Degree in Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Shannon believes that art is fundamental to life and human expression. For over 25 years Shannon has been dedicated to art education, art therapy, imparting her skills, knowledge and love of children to inspiring young artists. Shannon lives in Lawrence Park where her studio is located, where she has raised 3 children, a husband, a dog and a cat.
